"To whom it may concern/The Owner/Manager, As a long-time caretaker/resident manager of more than 17 years with Sussex Realty, I would like to express my extreme pleasure and satisfaction with the service I received from two of your employees today...and, like most people I'm sure, I don't often have or take the time to compliment tradespeople and/or businesses on a job well done.  But, in this case, I was more than satisfied and happy with the experience and the service they provided, and felt that these people in particular should be mentioned and congratulated. I spoke to Niki, your dispatcher, this morning at around 10am about a problem in one of my basement suites (#C) which had silt and water coming up the drains into the tub and toilet.  She was very friendly and accommodating and immediately offered me a choice of time slots in which a plumber could come to the building to repair the problem (ie. 2 - 4pm, 4 - 6pm, 7 - 9pm).  This was great and very much appreciated!  I asked if I could phone her back as soon as I figured out my schedule and determined the best time for everyone concerned on my end.  After some deliberation, I decided 7 - 9pm would work best for me and she was happy to facilitate my request. However, in the interim, my tenant called me back in a state of panic, saying that water was now periodically glugging and gurgling and shooting out of the tub drain and toilet (along with a rather disconcerting mishmash of what appeared to be toilet paper and yukky stuff!), ending up all over her bathroom floor.  I immediately phoned Niki back, relayed what was happening, and asked if there was any way we could move up our appointment.  Right away she understood the gravity of the situation and immediately said that she'd give us priority and send the tech/plumber over as soon as he wrapped up the job he was working on.  She obviously knows her stuff!...and reacted with the upmost professionalism and courtesy.  She was a pleasure to deal with and made my job so much easier.

But the happiness didn't stop there.  The tech/plumber, Greg, arrived on the scene even before I had a chance to check if any of my other basement suites were experiencing the same problem.  He was not only surprisingly knowledgeable--far more than any other plumber I've worked with--showing me and explaining what the problem could be and where the plug was, but he was extremely polite, exhibited the upmost professionalism and was amazing thorough to boot!  He opened everything that looked like it could be a 'main'  to check for water levels, etc., ran water, peered down and listened at every access/opening, ran the electric snake (almost the full 100ft!), changed head/cutter sizes when I mentioned that I thought the pipe narrowed at a certain point, and started all over again....continuing until the job was completely done (ie. the plug finally broke up and dissipated and we could hear the water running freely down the main drain).  Then he went back to the basement suite, put a new seal on the toilet and secured it into place, checked that it was flushing and the tub was draining properly, and cleaned up his mess.  

I've worked along side many techs/plumbers (Keir, Wpg Sewer and Drain, Roto-Rooter, Rescue Rooter, Sussex private contractors, etc.) for many many years now--all good guys and pretty good plumbers more or less--but Greg was really fantastic!...and also just seemed like an all-around personable trustworthy guy.  It was a pleasure having him in the building and I will request him next time I need a job done.

I sincerely hope that both these wonderful employees are recognized and given their due for such personable and exemplary work.  They are certainly an asset to your company."

"Approximately one month ago I contacted your company regarding problems with a blocked floor cacthbasin which drained into a sump pit  at St Marks Lutheran 600 Cambridge. The advice I received was to take a plunger and plunge the blocked drain. This seemed like a too simple solution. But it did work. Thank you for your expert advice. We experienced a heavy rain today and the drain to the sump pit is working fine.

I am sure other companies would have sent out a technician and charged us a hefty fee to do what you recommended over the phone."

"I wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt THANKS and APPRECIATION for the excellent service provided by your company Christmas Eve, 2013. Our sewer main line was backing up and needless to say, was providing us with a fair amount of anxiety and concern knowing the next day was Christmas and we were hosting a house load of people for dinner.
 
We called you at around 3: 00 p.m. The initial call was taken by an incredibly capable young lady, who calmed me and assured me that a service person would tend to our needs. She suggested he would arrive between 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. that night. I was impressed when I got a call back saying the service person would arrive shortly and long BEFORE the 5:00 p.m. initially suggested.
 
Your service guy, Nate was exceptional in getting our main line cleared with a minimum of fuss but what really impressed me was that at NO POINT IN TIME did he make me feel that I was inconveniencing him or a bother in anyway. After all, it was Christmas Eve and I am sure he could have been doing many other things that were far more enjoyable.
 
So, ongoing I will be singing the virtues of AA Clean Line to all who care to listen. Thanks again to your company and Nate for saving our Christmas!"

"I wanted to write you to let you know how satisfied my Mom and I are with the plumbing service you provided at her home in October 2013.
 
My Mom (a senior) required some plumbing to be done and she only wanted to have a certified plumber do the work. My Mom does not own a computer, so, she could not source you on line. She learned of your company from your radio advertisement on CJOB and your full page advertisement on the inside of the yellow pages directory.
 
I called in to schedule the appointment for my Mom and spoke with Angel. I made a few inquiries with Angel about the needs my Mom had and I also expressed my own needs to Angel about having someone come to my Mom’s home to do the work. I wanted to ensure that the person coming to do the plumbing would be patient with my Mom and take the time to answer any questions she may have. It was as if Angel read my mind with what I was asking and she quickly put my mind at ease by telling me that all of your plumbers are Red Seal certified and that you carry all the necessary insurance(s). She took the time to answer all the questions I had. She was also able to tell me the name of the plumber that would be sent to do the job and that he was a family man himself and that there would be nothing to worry about. The appointment time could have been almost immediately, yet we chose the date and time that best suited my Mom and it was exactly what we wanted.
 
The plumber sent to do the job was named Chris. He arrived to do the plumbing when we were told he would arrive and he was a very pleasant young man. He knew immediately what had to be done with the jobs we had outlined for him and the work he did was done to our complete satisfaction. He also took the time to answer a few questions we had about various plumbing work that we want to have done in the future. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant on top of being a very good plumber. He also worked very neatly which impressed my Mom very much.
 
At the end of the job, Chris prepared a detailed receipt/invoice for my Mom and what a delight to learn that there was a senior’s discount! Chris also told us that the work he did was guaranteed for 30 days. If my Mom noticed anything was wrong, she was to call back to the number on the invoice and someone would be sent out to fix it.
 
Our biggest way to thank your company is to let you know that we will continue to use your company for all my Mom’s plumbing needs and we will be certain to let everyone we know that requires any plumbing work done to know all about your company and our positive experience."
